The Garlic Knots bread didn’t feel fresh. Service could have been better — the staff wasn’t paying much attention, and I literally had to get up to get their notice. Overall, still a nice place to visit."

"This wonderful little café has a pretty garden in front, and in another attached garden, every Sunday, there’s a small farmer’s market. The dining area of the café is distributed across two spaces, one including a couple of bookcases stacked full of books, with comfortable seating. The other section, with more tables and chairs, is beside the display of cakes, cookies, brownies, etc. The café serves a range of these baked goods (and they sell jars of their cookies as well), plus they have various hot food items: sandwiches, salads, pasta, sourdough pizza et al. I was here for a book club meet (for which Flourmates is fairly conducive, since noise levels are quite controlled). It was very comfortable and pleasant, and the two things I ordered—a cappuccino and a wheat-jaggery cake wedge—were delicious. I will definitely be coming back to check out more of the menu."
